When I graduated from college, I really really wanted to do further study abroad, not specifically sa New Zealand, basta sa abroad. Then one day, I was randomly browsing through FB, then I found an ad about a study expo in SM Aura sometime in September 2017, then I attended the expo conducted by one immigration agencies in the Philippines, Golden Summit Immigration Consultancy. Nagattend din ako ng ibang expo and have consulted with other agencies na nagpoprocess ng student visa sa Austalia, Canada, Germany, etc. pero mas naattract parin ako sa New Zealand. Then 5 months after the expo, February 2018, and nandito na po ako, fulfilling my dream of obtaining knowledge abroad. When I came here naman, in the beginning wala din akong plans to stay until makapagresidency pero I fell in love with the idea of New Zealand (and fell out of love for the misfortunes sa Pilipinas due to politics and inflation, but I still sincerely love my home country, nevertheless. Uuwi at uuwi parin ako kahit anong mangyari). And then August of this year came in and we were told that we will be granted 3 years PSWV for level 7 qualifications or higher. The more na natuwa ako sa idea of the opportunity to stay and possibility to acquire residency in the future. I know mahabang process sya and it’s far from what’s easy, pero I know this will be worth it kasi pinangarap/ pinapangarap ko po ito eh.
